Tapuio Agropecuária Ltda. has been operating in the agribusiness market since 1991. The company is located in Taipú, a municipality in the State of Rio Grande do Norte and it is the only buffalo cheese producer in the state.
Tapuio’s Mission is to produce differentiated, high quality food products, which are totally integrated into and respect the environment. Evidence of this can be found in the eggs produced on the farm, which contain high levels of Vitamin E, Selenium and Omega 3, and in its cheeses with their high Calcium and Protein content and low levels of Sodium. All of this is supported by the regular analyses carried out by the Food Technology Institute (ITAL), the benchmark laboratory for analyzing food products in Brazil.
The Tapuio facilities comply with Brazilian quality standards. It is the only producer of buffalo milk products in the Northeast to have been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture’s Federal Inspection Service (SIF). The company also has its own quality guarantee programs such as its Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Sanitary Operation Procedures (SSOP) programs, which are permanently monitored through internal and external auditing procedures.
The Tapuio food products brands: DiBufalo for cheese, and Mr. Ovo Saúde, Mr. Caipira and Mr. Ômega3 for eggs, are sold by the best supermarket chains, emporiums and delicatessens in the Northeast, from Fortaleza to Salvador.
